Python Ninja, Code Monkey, Project Organizer, Linux User, Hacker Fanboy.

I am a programming enthusiast and I am very interested in figuring out how things work, making things with others, and hacking. Because of this, I dabble in all sorts of programming.

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have mostly learned all of my programming skills on my own time, using online communities and courses, but I have taken university computer science courses as well. University was very helpful in that it tought me things I never sought to learn on my own, such as implementing data structures in C++. Most of what I know I learned through necessity, picking up what I need to know along the way on projects. Projects such as computational analysis, plugins for engineering software, websites, unity engine games, python utilities, office automation, financial analysis, and algo trading.

Professionally, I have worked as a structural analysis engineer in the automotive industry, as well as customer support and development of software used for structural analysis applications.
