35+ years of experience, coding. Never met a problem I couldn't solve, ..., eventually.
You name the computer language, odds are I've used it, or am at least familiar. New languages and frameworks are fast and easy to learn and, when requested of me, I've generally been able to hit the ground running.
My primary human language is English. For all others I use online translators.

Non code related: all the usual stuff, enjoy: skiing (snow, water and jet), diving, dancing, improve (watching and participating), video games, people, travel, hanging out, tv, movies, boating, news blogs, etc.

Sayings

Generic:

  • TANSTAFL - there ain't no such thing as a free lunch. (Read this in a scifi book as a kid)

Political:

  • War is bad; but, letting your enemies kill you is worse. (Just started putting on posts one day - don't recall seeing it anywhere)

  • Entrusting people less trustworthy than used car salesmen with our lives, liberty and freedoms has become the American way. (Just made this one up on the spot, will probably start using though - sounds cynical and cool)
