I am Tarun Bedi, I have 9 years of experience in SW development. Majorly got opportunity to work in backend technologies like Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, Solar etc. and got some experience in frontend technologies like JS, Html, CSS (SASS), React etc. Also have experience in DevOps stuff with Jenkins, Docker, Docker Compose etc.

Currently I am working with LAB49 which is a consultancy service provider. Mainly working in fin-tech technologies. I have been here for 2 + years and this my 4th organisation. My role in the current project is Individual contributor. We are following the scrum model of the development. I am responsible for taking the end-to-end ownership of the user story starting from understanding the requirement, implementation, e2e tests, get the 2 thumbs up from code reviewers and merge the code in main stream branch. Participate in the code review and mentoring the juniors also part of my job.

Current project is more UI extensive project. This project is for the capital group / property dealer. This is an internal project of our client. This is medium size project.

MY best skills includes writing the REST APIs long time ago wrote SOAP also but very little majorly wrote REST APIs. Working on reporting based using the SQL on RDBMS and majorly ElasticSearch based as well.

Current project I got opportunity to implement the search feature implementation using the Elasticsearch. Wrote project to populate the indexes and Search module to expose the search APIs for frontend app.

In previous project I got opportunity to work in integration team which was responsible to integration the different streams of data to send to one Rule engine for compliance check.

In previous organisation I worked on an enterprise level of application which is being used by many mobile network service providers in many countries. Also got opportunity to write framework which used bytecode instrumentation to get analytics of sql queries.

I have developed many features e.g. warehouse, reporting using the elasticsearch, ad server. B2B application etc. Promotion logic. Used Redis as cache.

Did not get opportunity to work with AB testing as all projects were internal or not world facing so the experimentation was not being used.
