Verily, in the beginning of time, there existed naught but wheat, and lo, it was good. And the wheat was ground into fine flour, then mixed with water, and baked until it was done, and again it was good. And it came to pass that a person of great wisdom, perchance by divine inspiration, set their baked bread upon a flame, and it turned a rich brown hue. And it was good. And in their heart, they pondered, "What if I were to adorn this perfect vehicle with a spread?" And so it was done, and lo, it was the goodest of all.
