I'm a high school student who likes to code in my free time. I plan on doing it professionally someday, but for now I mostly bodge things together for fun (though that doesn't stop me from trying to learn to do things properly). I am almost entirely self taught, and that almost is just a computer science class that was well below my level (my school doesn't like people skipping pre-requisite courses even if they won't benefit from them) so I have no clue if I do things the "right" way, but my programs usually work without an unreasonable amount of effort so I must be doing something properly. I have a very strong DIY attitude, and like to do as much of everything myself as possible, but I'm able to see and willing to admit when a problem is out of my league to solve. My first programming language was python, and it's still by far my favourite, but I have a little experience with javascript, C#, robot-C, and Haskell.
