By day I do full-spectrum old-fashioned cradle-to-grave (womb-to-tomb) family medicine including office care of children and adults, hospital care, pregnancy care, delivery, and newborn care. My main role is educator and supervisor of 27 young physicians finishing their training in family medicine, as well as a coterie of medical students.
My side hobby is writing point-of-care iOS apps for physicians and trainees. I'm not very good at this, but my ambitions are not too lofty. Doctors don't need fancy stuff, which is good cuz I can only do some basic stuff. I occasionally collaborate with computer science students and faculty at nearby SUNY Binghamton (State University of New York) and nearby SUNY Upstate Medical Univ.
I have a barely functional website here because Apple iTunes Store requires developers to have a website. I know nothing about websites or website design, but fortunately, Wix makes it free.
I do everything for free. No money changes hands. I take no money, I pay no one money. Stack Overflow is my kinda place. People helping each other out -- that's my ethos.
