Currently CTO at a product-company that I started with some friends. Want some history? That's why I'm writing this, so go on reading (spoiler alert: It's only about my personal relation to the industry - nothing important).

Do you know about the BBS "Riprova" that I ran during the modem-ages? No? Well then you are a spoiled little brat who didn't live in my area-code in Sweden in the late '90s, and won't even care that the name "Riprova" comes from one of the DOS-error messages on my from Italy imported Amstrad 2086 PC. Still there? Well, in that case, I guess I'll need to share some actual background history. I did "computer-stuff" (basic on the C64) in the late 80's (you know, when it was NOT cool - even "Computer nerd" wasn't really a thing yet). During the modem-ages I mentioned, "Zuckerberg" would have been called "suck-a-berg". Even though I'm not sure what a "berg" would have referred to, it would at least have been a nickname, which was not deserved before the 90's. After university studies in informatics, I started working as a developer in 2000 (yep, great timing - I graduated just after the "IT-bubble" burst and could enjoy half the salary of the ones graduating the year before). Some years passed and I followed the currently usual pattern: working at some consultant companies and then going freelance. If you are still reading and you're thinking about going freelance then just do it. It's a great step (or destination) in your careeer.
