Been coding and administrating databases in some form or other for over forty years. This came as quite a shock to me as I realised this during a recent induction talk with a youngster who had joined our team for a weeks work experience. Where did all those years go? Could I really recommend this life to someone who was just dipping their toes into the world of EyeTea. What would I have told my young self all those years back before the dawn of micro computers. It's simple really. Spend your life doing those things you really enjoy whilst you can. And if that happens to enhance the well being of those around you and beyond well that sounds like a life worth living.
