I found a passion for both science and logic since my early school days. This included a strong passion for coding. I completed a GCSE degree in computer science, including a project compiled using Turbo Basic, which was an educational App for trigonometry for high school students, and a basic word processor application.

After graduating high-school I continued my education in Medical school, Cairo University Egypt, from which I graduated in November 1998. I pursued my career in medicine, completing a Master’s degree in 2005 and PhD in 2008, hence qualifying as a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology.

In pursuit of further professional development I moved to England, where I currently live together with my family, and continue to work as an obstetrician and gynaecologist in the NHS.

Throughout my life, I have maintained my passion for logic and coding, managing to expand my knowledge and skills in creating multiple software solutions for myself and colleagues, and finally to share my skills on an international scale with my most recently published projects.

My experience in different countries has given me exposure to different cultures and backgrounds, which helps me work efficiently in a team, and understand the needs and opinions of my colleagues.

My work in various sized teams, and my role as a leader in the medical profession has given me strong qualifications in team leadership. I have also achieved many goals in my medical career, which demonstrates my perseverance and dedication to my work. Also in my medical career, I have learned to work under stress, and for long hours, with making sure my team’s well-being is not compromised.

I have a strong passion for teaching, which has been greatly improved by my continuous work in various teaching hospitals. Although all my teaching skills so far have been in the field of medicine, this has been so vast that is easily tailored to benefit my junior colleagues in any profession, and can be utilised for their support.

My passion to learn and be challenged is what drives me to expand and improve on my second career. This is also aided by my ability to see and solve problems from multiple angles.
