Opinions around developing quality software is often a controversial topic. Since the commencement of my career 9 years ago, developing quality software that is both stable and user friendly has been my passion and priority. My goal is always to deliver high quality software within budget, on time and as quickly as possible.I have experience in a large number of programming languages, including PHP, JavaScript, C#, C++, JAVA. I’m solution driven rather than technology specific.

My opinion is that the principals of most Object Orientated Programming languages are similar and that the syntax is the main difference between the languages. The result is that I find learning new programming languages elementary as it is mostly learning the difference in the syntax.

My team management style encompasses giving my team members the objective, some guidelines and assisting them along the way. In this way individuals can learn how to manage themselves without micro management.

How I keep my skills sharp

I regularly research and learn new technologies and do online tutorials and courses on Microsoft Virtual Academy. I try to always be and enjoy being on the cutting edge of technology. Its always exiting to know what the latest and greatest technologies are.

What I want to do next

I want to learn the cutting edge in Software development technologies. I like working on projects that challenges me and forces me to learn new technologies and techniques.

I want to add Android and mobile development to my repertoire, and also start doing some open source projects in my free time.
