There's a running joke with my friends that any idea I have will eventually involve a genetic learning algorithm and maybe a neural net. C++ is my boo and MATLAB my mortal enemy. Actually, my relationship with MATLAB is a lot more like the relationship between the Colonials and the rebel Cylons, where there's a lot of distrust at first because of bad experiences in the past but eventually they realize that they've got something to contribute to each other. It's complicated.
