I'm no expert programmer, but I do code a bit. I've learned some coding only when I needed to. For example, if I need a nice fancy page with fancy drop downs, then I’ll tinker with java and html until I get it done. Same with APPS and so on. On a last resort, I’ll ask around if I’m stuck with something.
