Early Work

A engineer by training, I have always appreciated the intricacies of problem solving and numerical methods. Starting with design work, I became keenly aware of problem spaces where euclidean geometry reigned supreme. Learning how to position and orient points/objects in space, I started optimizing models, data and physical structures for my various employers in the manufacturing sector.

Awakening

Around 2016 I realized I needed to focus purely on computer programming. This was evident to me because of my longtime appreciation and curiosity for PC's and gaming but also because I realized mathematically problem solving was one of the highest powers an engineer could have. I wanted to be better. I am also a continuous learner and I realized the road forward would be hard but paved with vast amounts of knowledge gain.

New Start

I embarked on my journey through a bootcamp with Galvanize Inc. This turned out to be one of the most important milestones of my career. I became enthusiastic about all things data and turned my attention towards statistical programming. Iterating through projects at a fast rate of change eventually enabled me to slow down and understand that the gift was in the journey not the reward. So here I am still being rewarded and still journeying.
