I am a dabbler in programming with some experience in C, followed by PHP, and now getting in Java. All of which is simply a hobby. I'm quite obsessive compulsive about writing clean code and doing it the "right" way all of the time, which tends to lead to hours of side tracking in reading and re-reading how to do even simple tasks. Which is why I prefer to keep this a hobby!

Outside of programming, but still in the realm of IT I'm primarily a network administrator with keen interest on network planning, server administration, and IP telephony.

My favorite flavor of Linux is OpenSUSE; I actually like Windows 10; and Mac OS X is pretty alright too: each have their weaknesses and strengths!
