I am a self taught programmer and web developer. My particular interest lies with python and I have written several scripts and programs to manage AutoCAD dwgs, Excel files, and file/directory operations.

I also am an avid fan of Django, but have mostly worked with Wordpress for site development. I am aspiring to become proficient enough to develop all my sites with Django in a reasonable time so I can leave Wordpress behind.

EDIT: My tinkering around with python at work has paid off! I am now a full time programmer and am developing network applications with Django. I turned my computer into a network server...shhhh....don't tell IT and am serving up my Django apps to numerous people on the network...so much fun!!
