“Baby steps to giant strides.”

5 years ago I would have never thought about pursuing a career as a software engineer. Hi I’m Xullnn from China. I had some previous experience in Landscape Architecture, currently I am working for my family’s business.

In the last 3 years I’ve been learning programming at Launch School. It’s an online school stresses "Mastery-based Learning" a lot. There I learned deeply about important backend and frontend topics about software development, including:

• General and Object-Oriented programming with Ruby and JavaScript
• Computational thinking
• Network(Internet layers and protocols) and Database foundations (SQL & RDBMS)
• Web development, HTML, CSS
• DOM and Asynchronous programming with JavaScript
• Some popular libraries and frameworks(jQuery, Node.js, Ruby on Rails)
• Version control with Github

I love reading and playing tennis in my spare time. Books and tennis can always make me feel excited yet focusing. Just like coding!
