I am studying website design and development, as well as various programming languages through Coursera. I find it challenging, but definitely what I want to do as far as my future career goes. In the meantime I am also working freelance as a local web designer/developer to gain experience. And I'm trying to build a better relationship with jQuery, a battle I am slowly winning.

My current "job" is as a machinist. The job is great, the people are great, but it's not very long-term for me.

I am a Trekkie. Not so far that I actually own any trek paraphernalia, but I have seen every episode and every movie dozens of times, and still watch it regularly. I am semi-excited about the new Discovery series, if it ever premiers.

As far as humor, I love it, all types of it.
