TL;DR: I wanted to become a garbage(wo)man, instead I became an assistant professor. Then I quit and became a software developer at ANSYS (Explicit Dynamics product). I have a PhD in computational mechanics, I love debugging, I love teaching/sharing, and I am fascinated and very enthusiastic about tools that help us get stuff done more efficiently -- obviously a big fan of Git.
