Hi, my name is Daniel, I am currently in the finance industry working at a major bank as an analyst, but my true passion is software development. I recently completed two full stack development bootcamps, one local, and one through Udemy, taught by Colt Steele, previous instructor for Galvanize in Silicon Valley. I have also been utilizing multiple resources to learn the past two years including FreeCodeCamp, Udemy, TeamTreeHouse, and CodeAcademy in order to accomplish my goal of transitioning out of the finance industry by the end of 2018.

As a developer I get excited about taking on both roles as an engineer and a designer - combining my technical knowledge with my unique eye for design and just being creative. My goal as a developer is to be apart of a community or company that I can be proud of for the work that I have done. I am eager to join a team of engineers, to collaborate and contribute to exciting projects that can potentially reach people all over the world.

When I'm not coding you can usually find me playing a game with friends online (currently ranked 5th in the world for Halo 5), hanging out with my amazing wife, trying a new local restuarant, traveling to a new city or country, or playing with my doofus golden named Riggs.
