I've been programming since the 1980s: First in BASIC, then Pascal, followed by C, C++, and later using IBM Mainframe Assembler, C#, PHP, and Javascript. I have written software for education, the banking industry, the residential construction industry, and for identity verification and vetting, as well as SSL/TLS encryption and certificate management.

Despite all of my coding experience, I have a BA in English Language and Literature.
