I am a professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I originally learned to program in BASIC on a Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-8/I, using a teletype and paper tape storage. In the past, I have been paid to program in FORTRAN, PASCAL, and C. I gave that all up to become a Ph.D. Biochemist; specifically I was a protein crystallographer interested in how enzymes function. Currently, I teach Pharmacy Students fundamental Biochemistry. I have dabbled in Java, Javascript, PHP, and C++ both before and after it became "modern."
