I'm currently working on a startup called Cloudsmith. It's a Package/Repository Management SaaS to help people securely manage their software dependencies, deployments and distribution. Something like Artifactory/Nexus, but with a much deeper focus on collaboration (people-oriented software), simplicity, and an easier path to setup and security.

Currently in an entangled web of fund raising, business, technology, people, and financials; all the while hustling and bustling to Make It All Work. Spinning 50 different plates at once, but loving it. Not my first startup (see below) I'd be happy to share experiences, provide mentorship, give (or receive!) advice, offer support, etc. Startups: we're in it together.

My background? From 2001-2010, I co-built Newzbin (.com) - The world's largest search engine and index for Usenet (Newsgroups) at the time, with a peak of 700k users. It was started as a hobbyist project in 2001, was incorporated by 3 co-founders in 2002, became profitable from 2003 and was eventually shut down in court in 2010.

Other than that, I've done stints in fintech and insurtech companies, as well as independent consultancy and contracting for a number of large firms (e.g. Bloomberg, NYSE, etc.) I'm passionate about technology, love startup cultures, have two awesome kids (and a very supportive wife), and I'm an avid gamer with waning reflexes.
