With a background in computational modelling and analysis of structures and bridges, Vafā has more than 20 years of experience in software development, enterprise data management, data architecture, and data engineering.

Born in 1975 in Rasht, he studied Civil Engineering in the University of Tehran. From 1993 to 2011, he lived in Tehran and worked as structural engineer, software developer, and IT consultant.

He moved to Lausanne in 2011, and by joining Frontiers he participated in its innovative advancement by conducting enterprise data management and analytics.

He joined Avanade in 2022 as Group Manager, Data Engineering.
