I'm permanently disabled as of 5 years now or so. A few years back I got sick of 'doing nothing' so I began learning programming. My hopes is to develop a game some day but for now I am still learning what all there is out there.

I have primarily used C/C# in the past, though never did get all the way through the material I had on them. After that I worked in LUA for several months and acquired a fairly good understanding of programming fundamentals during my time with it.

Recently, I decided to try Python as I had an old book sitting around (version 2... I'm currently learning 3.x instead). I've found it a lot more concise and easier to work with than my prior experiences and am nearly through this crash course on the language. I plan on continuing to learn the capabilities of python (though I know it's not exactly the best for game development at this particular point) as, well, it's just a fun language!
