New to Linux/Ubuntu, trying to revitalize old hardware.

Main project

Frankenstein: Headless file and print server for mixed OS network (Windows, Linux, Chrome). Built from parts of three ~15 year old machines. Up and running, but still has some kinks to work out.

800 MHz AMD Athlon, 768 Mb RAM, Ubuntu Server 12.04

Secondary project (was my first Linux project, but focusing on Frankenstein now)

Roamer: General use machine. Old Acer laptop, originally purchased in Dubai, that has seen a good bit of travel, but has become desk-bound due to the ravages of time. Mostly running fine, but still tweaking and learning.

1.83 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 3 GB Ram, Lubuntu 14.02 (dual boot with original Windows partition, but that will eventually go away).
