When I was a freshman in college I took one week of a JavaScript course, dropped out after I somehow couldn't get "hello world" to work, and swore off programming forever.
So, as you'd expect, I now write JavaScript for a living.
I'm a huge fan of React and a recent convert to TypeScript, have dabbled in Java, Scala, Rust, Clojure, Go, and Elm, and am interested in learning just about anything I possibly can.
If only freshman me could see me now.
