I am originally an artist (MFA) specialized in drawing, graphic design and sound engineering but I wasn't ever satisfied with trying to make a steady living out of creative work. I needed something else and then I found the magic land of programming. I got so exited that I applied to a University of Applied Sciences to actually make a profession out of that. It was only the couple of first courses and I totally fell in love with the field.
I dropped everything else and even quit my day job to go all-in with my studies. I am close to ending my first years of school and at this point I think I have most of the skill set needed for at least basic level front-end development. As I have such a strong background in arts and media, it kind of makes sense to go front-end. But I am not going to stop there.
In the future I want to work with with things like AI, smart cities, blockchain and what ever cool tech I get my hands on. There's a LOT of learning still to do but I got time. I'll stop when I stop breathing.
