I have been continuously delivering software using Java EE and the full stack of related web technologies for eleven years. More recently I’ve been working with the development and deployment of Spring MVC/hibernate-based web apps using RESTful APIs, and supporting these apps with comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests.

Although my present strong suit happens to be Java, I can be comfortable working with anything and am eager to learn any required new skills quickly to overcome gaps.

My passion is clean, well designed, and well-tested code. When I start I job I am borderline obsessive compulsive about seeing it to its completion...whatever form that may take. To build "quality" code is really what keeps me in this game. To be able to put myself into something creatively and put my name to it.

I am proficient and comfortable with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Crucible applications for task management, documentation, and code reviews.

I am also comfortable with either Git or SVN for source repository management, either maven or gradle for build and dependency management, and either intellij or eclipse for development.


Additionally, my previous two jobs spanning five years were also remote so I am comfortable being a part of a dispersed and agile remote team and with the tech required to do so.
