I'm manager of Interactive Content at The Plain Dealer in Cleveland, where I have many roles that fall into two classes, programming and editing. As a programmer I work in javascript, css, html, php, visual basic for applications and templating systems to create apps that enhance news stories posted to cleveland.com, our affiliate website, and to assist users in-house with their work. My intensive web programming experience goes back about five years.

As an editor I write a weekday roundup of news -- particularly weird news -- headlines on websites around Northeast Ohio; I select and post stories, write headlines and captions; select, manage and manipulate photos; and I work extensively with the cleveland.com CMS, from Movable Type.
