I'm a software executive who spent a decade as a programmer in startups and as a freelancer. I still write a lot of code these days, largely centered around PHP, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, and Cordova PhoneGap for cross-platform applications. I know enough Ruby and Actionscript to get by and can read a half-dozen other languages but nothing beyond a 1st grade level.

I've done game development, data analysis, numerous 3rd-party integrations. I've managed and manipulated datasets containing hundreds of millions of rows, broken more sites than I can count, and possibly saw the Doctor hanging out in a park in Switzerland. Can't be sure on that last point.

I've spent years browsing SO for answers and decided it was time to start giving back, so I'm trying to take the time to help out on here as I can and pay forward the enormous value I've gotten out of the SO users' knowledge and experience.
