I am a self-driven nerd that first took an interest in programming back in 2008.
For my first four and a half years programming as a hobby, I learned all I could from numerous tutorials on the internet and ended up making a large arena-style RPG in DOS. Though it's not the most impressive program, the lessons I learned from it have proven invaluable to me in my professional career.
While I worked on that program and various other scripts solely for fun, I was unknowingly building the core skills a professional programmer needs such as troubleshooting, self-motivation, persistence, and attention to detail. Perhaps most importantly, I learned about the gratification of seeing a project through from start to finish.
My professional objectives are to be the best software developer I can be and to develop robust, reliable applications that improve peoples' quality of life and promote a happier world.
