In addition to my background in writing, research , philosophy and international relations, I've discovered that I had a knack for solving problems using technology. I've taken this a step forward by seeking formal training in software development through one of the top bootcamps in NYC: App Academy.

As technology moves faster, I've noticed a demand for people who not only create and understand technology, but also have the ability to explain and communicate it to others. I've always enjoyed explaining code, even when I knew very little of it and I look forward to delving into the abstract machinations of what happens behind the dazzling splash pages we see on today's web. I have a particular fascination for data and design that I'm hoping to quench and I believe that my background in the arts will help give me both an outsider's and an insider's perspective on technology.

Outside of professional and academic interests, I've been a lifelong gamer, which admittedly, was one of the major gateways for my interest in coding and design. I also like to play guitar, sing, and take long walks to ponder life.
