I have always been interested in coding, ever since I got my first commodore 64. Which is where I taught myself how to code my first program. It was nothing major just a program to turn my TV into a working strobe light (Mid 1990s). This is where my love of programming bloomed. After I taught my self basic, I turned my sights toward coding in C, more specifically, coding my own MUD (Multi User Dungeon). At the time, I was big into Star Wars MUDs and decided it was time to venture out on my own and run my own game. So I downloaded Cygwin, pUTTY, and my first open sourced Star Wars Reality database and began looking through the files(early 2000's). Around this time I was just getting back from the military, and had a lot of time on my hands. So I spent this time learning to code. I found that I was able to understand the code fairly easily, but in able to write in it very well. Of course after sometime I started getting used to it and code would pop into my head at random times during the day so I would have to write it down somewhere to implement later when I made it back to my computer. After getting the hang of writing the code I began running my own Linux server out of my home and hosting my game a long with other games. I eventually grew out of my mud, and left the coding to the professionals. I eventually got into YouTube a little, but have now focused my brain toward developing useful everyday apps for Android.
