I discovered programming relatively late, mainly because my family was too poor to own a computer. I took a programming course on a whim my sophomore year in college, and it turns out I had a knack for it. I've been writing code ever since, in everything from stripped down Z80 assembly to Java and C#. My professional career began in games (PC and console) almost 20 years ago, and I've since moved on to a major corporation where I've done work for various organizations, including NASA.
Aside from that, I enjoy gaming, astronomy (a 10" SCT, a 6" refrator, and a 5" Muksotov), electronics (various flavors of ATMEL), and pretty much anything science and/or technology related.
