I bought my first PC - an olivetti PCS386 - by spring 1988. The operating systeme was a MS-Dos 4.0 and windows was in version 2.1. I spend one night to create a directory with the mkdir command, without understanding anything. The next day a friend showed me the cd function. Since I never stop to deep into code and functions. I started by creating an accounting application with the FRED langage included in the office suite Framework III (competitor of Lotus 1,2,3). This was my first self-learning of a procedural language. After, I dealed with DbaseII, Dbase III and finished to develop an ERP for my company with MS access. But I never been IT developer, just manager in the field of production. Now, my career is over, and I'm interested in poo and try to understand the secrets of C++ by developping small applications I want to share with other enthusiasts, including applications related to aeronautics, that I practice.
