I'm passionate about C language. All the time I try to find another language which could bring me the power I have doing C code, but they always fail to do the job. Now I think that all languages have their own "niche" to thrive (and of course, C is not indicated to all jobs if speed of development is in the top needs)... I'm currently doing bug-fixing related work (c and c++) for the last 12 years and this experience made me understand why the C language is so avoided in new projects: is dificult to find a programmer with the necessary patience and with extreme attention to details... one of the most recurring causes of memory leak is forgeting to free in the error handling step! Besides that, this is the best language to create software with best performance.
Besides my passion on C and C++, I know well: java, python, ksh, scheme, lisp, perl , pascal and assembly language.
