I am the leading shear sharpener for 100's of SF Bay Area Salons, Barbershops, and Pet Groomers. I sharpen by day, and code by night. Sometimes I code all day and night. And sometimes I just play Go / Weiqi / Baduk for almost the entire day.
I have been coding since the late 70's, (ok, probably since December of 1979, since I had never seen a real computer in person before that), and have done a lot of work all the way from design and testing of machine language assemblers, and hand assembly before that, all the way to the design, implementation, and testing of Expert Systems and AI languages. I spent several years at Adobe, and learned to really love ActionScript and Flex and AIR, but I am now transitioning back to the C# stack and Microsoft toolchain.
I am a class clown in the George Carlin tradition, peace be upon him. I enjoy channelling his inspiration, to give a good excuse for what it is that keeps me out of all the really good schools and jobs.
I am writing a book about Go. I play frequently on Dragon Go Server, and try to keep up with over 80 correspondence games I am playing there.
I also drive for Uber and Lyft, and entertain my passengers with George Carlin, and Music From The Hearts of Space.
