In my RL, I am a disabled stay-at home father of four wonderful, quirky kids and husband to a wonderful woman who works as a highschool teacher. I garden some, I'm learning to blacksmith some so I can fix little things around the property.

I'm 41 years old and I've had many different jobs over that span. I've worked as a member of a cleanup crew at an industrial plant, I've loaded semi's while going to school for a music education degree until I realized that wasn't a good fit. I've managed stores, answered phones, worked as a call center tech, and put my wife through college.

When she graduated and got her teaching certs, I attended Valdosta Tech (Now Wiregrass Technical College in Valdosta GA) where I attained an associate's degree in network administration and a diploma of Linux system administration. After graduating, I worked for a small computer repair company as a network tech and a bench tech. I worked here up until I became unable to work due to health reasons. During that time I've done various and sundry things online, participating in multiple communities. From 2002-2013 I ran a fairly well known Mush (text based mmorpg) based on 3rd edition Dungeons and Dragons as well as writing a script using ffmpeg to become one of the first linux based video game live-streamers on JustinTV (then to become Twitch.Tv).

Now? I'm working on getting back into as good a shape as my body will let me, I'm becoming conversant in Python, CSS, HTML5 and Javascript. My preferred text editor is vim, though I'm learning PyCharm as an IDE.
