Currently working part time as a tutor and teaching assistant for Trilogy Educational services. A self-motivated full stack (MERN) developer with an eye for detail, I was trained in Georgia Tech’s Coding Boot Camp, a structured, rigorous and industry certified program. Through my previous work experience, thirteen years as a high school chemistry teacher and prior service in the United States Coast Guard, I have gained the organizational and management skills necessary to effectively execute projects and meet deadlines. I entered the world of coding because I was looking for a fresh and fun challenge that would appeal to my analytical thinking and inquisitive nature. Having learned the basics of frontend: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, Node and Express, I am enjoy tying it all together with using React.
