I'm a guy who got stuck in backend development such as php, sql, and c++. I started to pick up programming when i was 14, it was html and php. I did it not because i liked it, actually because my dad said that those are the future of internet and you need to learn it if you want to be able do to anything on internet. Fast forward to present, i regret nothing about it because i prefer backend than frontend.
My experience consisted of doing php in static html css website back in 2009. Few years later i started to get to know wordpress and got confused "why am i learning programming if i can just use wordpress" until 2013 where i started to realize wordpress is good for blog and website, if you want to create a web app, you actually need to use your programming knowledge. So i went back to php programming and delve deeper into frameworks such as laravel and started to familiarize myself with integrating frontend to my app using jquery, angular(didn't last long), and react(started learning recently).
I tried shifting to frontend development, just once, never tried it again.
