I started out programming in 2001 for Central Michigan University using Classic ASP, VB.NET 1.0 and 1.1 and SQL Server 7.0 developing internal systems for the University staff. While at CMU we upgraded to SQL Server 2000.

I moved back out to Philadelphia in 2007 and landed a job at the University of Pennsylvania supporting an internal application written in VB.NET 1.1 with a SQL Server 2000 backend. The application has a windows interface, web interface, XML web services, numerous DTS/SSIS packages and other utility applications.

Since 2007, I have migrated the DB from SQL server 2000 to SQL Server 2008 R2 and upgraded the application code from .NET v1.1 to .NET v3.5 (windows, web and XML web services).

I now support one Java/Oracle and one PHP/MySql application along with the VB.NET/SQL Server application, as well.
