My first coding project was creating an Excel Macro that automated some cost sheet breakdowns for my team of engineers. I was not a developer or programmer and had no experience coding. Grateful for Stack Overflow for answering all my questions and helping me through that project.

That project gave me a great appreciation for coding, so I started taking courses online for JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/CSS. I found a coding school where I learned a lot more and got selected to work on a project for an entrepreneur with a team of developers. I learned .NET C#, SQL, enhanced my JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills, worked with the React.js framework and built Web APIs. It was a good experience, so when that project ended, I found a full-time job as a Software Developer working on SaaS applications.

I've been developing for almost 2 years now, and this is what I'm going to spend the rest of my career focusing on.
