I am a former Chemical Engineer who has made a career shift into Software Engineering. I have always had a passion for optimization and for finding creative solutions to unique problems and I think as a Software Engineer I can do that even more than in my previous life. On a personal note I love doing anything that gets me outside and caught up in spontaneous adventures. Some random facts to give you a taste:

• I'm originally from NY
• I once convinced a friend to walk with me from NY to Boston, just to see if we could
• I competed in an international rugby tournament in Kenya in a 60,000 person stadium
• I once accidentally set up camp in a field of bulls and was forced to "sleep" (or not get any sleep) there all night
• I impulse bought game 7 tickets to the 2016 World Series to watch the Cubbies win!
