Hi, I'm a seasoned software programmer by trade, in his fourties at the time of writing (2020).
I code both at work and at home, for personal projects. The latter are often ephemeral and are most of the time mere pretexts to perfect my craft, by learning and experimenting with new techniques/frameworks/languages/etc. We all know, of course, that perfection will never be achieved, but the road to there is a constant, reliable source of entertainment and satisfaction.
At work, I currently use mostly Python and C, with some occasional ADA.
At home, I also use mostly Python, and I currently toy with nng and Kivy.
