LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF!
If you love data, you’ll feel right at home here.
It started with Google Analytics. In 2014, I thought of trying Google Analytics to the family business, and it gave awesome results. To learn further, I worked as a Data Science Intern and Summer Analyst, and that made me more passionate about learning analytics. That sets my journey to become a Data Scientist. However, a perfect Data Scientist does not exist, because data is infinite, and you keep learning more about data.
Who am I?
My name is Raj Mehta, and I am a graduate student in Business Intelligence and Analytics at Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey. I completed my Bachelors of Technology in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, India. In my position at Omkar Commodities Limited as an intern, I helped the company with their business complication by taking the advantage of data. I implemented predictive modeling, hypothesis testing, machine learning models, and optimization.
Passion?
(“DATA”). Anything related to data, building statistical models, analyzing data, inferring resolutions, and suggesting decisions, that’s what I admire the most.
Skills?
Machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, data analysis, natural language processing, and big data entices me the most. I am very passionate about data and keep finding sources to learn more about data. This has given me an edge in learning Python, R, SAS, SQL, Hadoop, and MS Excel with ease.
