I'm an ear and cochlear implant surgeon developing next generation hearing technology. I'm also very interested in modernizing health information technology. My passion for this space is fueled by my journey to becoming the first person born deaf to become a surgeon with cochlear implants.

In 1989, I learned BASIC which taught me that computers are adaptable tools. Since then, I have been working to merge medicine, technology, and advocacy® to improve the lives of people with hearing loss.
