Jul'2015 - Till Date: Myntra Design Pvt. Ltd Bangalore as Senior Software Engineer. Working in the SCM team, specifically the logistics management services team.Initially worked on adding fea- tures, enhancements to the system. Currently working on the Myntra-Ecom integration project where key re- sponsibilities include designing and implementing restful services from the Ecom Express side. This project will help to strengthen overall logistics scale and coverage of Myntra. It will serve as a major milestone for both cost reduction and enhanced logistics capabilities. Major Projects Handled:- Scaling Courier Serviceability Service by 10x: I have scaled the serviceability service by 10x and reduced its response time by 3x times by adding using the Redis (Distributed Caching Mechanism), removing database calls, reducing the size of the object stored in redis, using Ehcache(in memory) and doing further optimisations. Try On Delivery:- Try On Delivery was the feature launched by Myntra for Customer Acquisition. This was a big project requiring co-ordination with many teams. Being the part of Logistics Team, took the initiative to complete the task required from LMS and co-ordinated with other teams to deliver the successful product and on Time. ML Augmentation:- ML Augmentation was launched to use the last mile courier partner effectively. Took the complete owner- ship of the project starting from the design to Testing and making it Live that too before deadline. Return Serviceability:- Earlier Myntra used to Handle Return Serviceability similar to the forward Order. Since Myntra Logistics was he courier partner, it was easy to handle but as Myntra started integrating with other courier partners this as- sumption was wrong. Added the capability of Return serviceability which will consider Courier Capability, Ship- ping Cuttoff , Turn around time and Item attributes into consideration. MultiTenancy:- Making the myntra platform multiTenant so that Jabong and other clients can be onboard which will bring down the overall operation cost of Flipkart group drastically. I had worked on this project end to end starting from Design to testing. Transport Management System:- TMS was done to bring in visibility and tracking in the long haul of the delivery of the shipment.This will in- crease the customer satisfaction to a great extent as he will be able to view all the tracking of his shipment plus it will also help in identifying the areas which are causing delays.
