Old tech, IT, WebDev, Network Administrator, Surveillance Technician, Computer Build/Repair/Upgrade/Yadda Guy, File/Network/Web Server Design and build/repair, etc. etc.
Started yanking computers apart back in 1981 when the old Apple II & II+ were the rave. I have always had a technical and scientific mind. Something my Father instilled in me. But, at age 3, I was already trying to figure out how things worked. I took apart my Mother's 10-Speed bolt by bolt until it was just a pile of parts. Can't say I was able to put it back together! lol But, being that age and figuring out how to use tools as well as understand the righty-tighty and lefty-loosy was pretty impressive! lol
But, all that is over now. I'm fully disabled, and unable to work ever again.
I sit around home tinkering with things, but typically never finish anything as my mind has dwindled down to having little to no memory. Not quite Alzheimers or Dementia, but pretty bad. Fortunately, I did WebDev for so long that it's embedded into my skull! I did PHP/MySQL coding, and have troubles remembering a lot of the scripting, but I do remember the structuring of the code. So it's just a matter of doing it to start bringing it all back.
Aaaaand I tend to tell my life story in every comment I do. Another issue I have. I start typing, and I can't stop!
*(edit) The website link is a new one I just started on March 14th, 2022. It's a tech help site kind of like this one, but much simpler. And it will cover other tekkie stuff like: Guitar Tech, Web Development, Electronics Repair, yadda.
**(edit 6/27/22) My disabilities have been getting much worse exponentially with others piling on daily it seems. My energy levels are down to keeping me bedridden 23 hours a day, my memory is so bad I forget what I was saying mid-sentence, I have shiny object syndrome so bad that I can't even write a simple login script, yadda.
So, I might wind up just stealing code here and there to suit my needs. And this awesome site will become my best friend soon! lol
