The 1927–28 Gold Cup was the 16th edition of the Gold Cup, a cup competition in Northern Irish football.[1]

The tournament was won by Linfield for the 8th time and 2nd consecutive year, defeating Belfast Celtic 3–2 in the final at Grosvenor Park.[2]
