2024 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 9 or, for sponsorship reasons, HBL PSL 2024) will be the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League. Established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015 as a franchise Twenty20 cricket league, it is played between six teams in a double round robin and page playoff system. It is scheduled to take place across four cities in Pakistan from 17 February to 18 March 2024.

Squads

The retained player's list was announced on 7 December 2023,[2] and the squads for the tournament were finalized on 13 December with the draft in Lahore.[3]

Venues

While PCB was planning to add on two more teams in the league and move the tournament to UAE due to the 2024 Pakistani general election, the franchise owners opposed this.[4][5] Meanwhile, the discussions were underway that Arbab Niaz Stadium, Peshawar, should also host the matches. However, it didn't work out due to the security issues.[6] Therefore, it was decided that the league would take place across four cities; Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Rawalpindi.[7][8] Lahore will host the opening match, while Karachi will host the playoffs and the final.[9]
